The “Contact Drivers” section in the platform is designed to facilitate direct communication with drivers via different channels. Here’s a breakdown of the available features and how they work:
Message Type
You can choose from three different message types to communicate with drivers:
- Push: Sends a push notification to the driver’s app.
- SMS: Sends a text message to the driver’s phone number.
- SMS and Push: Sends both a push notification and an SMS.
Send Push/SMS
Once the message type is selected, you can send the message through the following steps:
- To (Recipient Selection):
- Custom CSV: Allows you to upload a custom CSV file containing the list of drivers you want to contact. This file should include necessary driver information like Driver ID, Driver Name, and Driver Phone Number.
- Choose CSV: This option enables you to browse and upload the CSV file that you want to use for sending messages
- Download Sample CSV: Provides a sample CSV file that you can download. This file will have the format and required fields to ensure your CSV is correctly formatted for the platform
– Message:
There is a text box where you can enter the message you wish to send to the selected drivers. The message count will show the number of characters used.
– Send Push:
- After filling in the necessary details, you can click the “Send Push” button to send your message.
Driver Table (Search and Filter)
- Search: There is a search box where you can enter specific driver details to filter the list of drivers.
- Show Entries: You can adjust the number of entries displayed on the screen (e.g., 10, 25, 50, or more drivers).
- Table Headers: The table will list the drivers based on selected criteria, showing details such as Driver ID, Driver Name, and Driver Phone Number.
- Navigation: If the list is long, you can navigate through pages using the “First,” “Previous,” “Next,” and “Last” buttons.
